We don’t care about your data, we care about your privacy.
We built Lunch Roulette to do our mission of being good. We like good products and we are makers in our DNA. We are not a shady corporate, just 2 friends who already built more than a dozen products. We have no marketing team. We don’t like ads. We don’t sell, use, or process any kind of customer data.
Besides the customer info, we collect emails. That is only for verification purposes and to have a contact address. We don’t want you to bother with sign-up forms, and we think that it is a better user experience if we let you skip the sign-up process. We thought “hey, people have entered their e-mail in Slack anyway, why bothering again, just get them from Slack and ask permission during app installation.”
Nevertheless, we like to make sure our practices and the information we share with you about how we collect and handle your personal information are transparent and easy to understand. It’s why we’d like to step you through the ins and outs of our approach to data privacy, and how it might relate to you (the usual yada yada).
